I was born during the eighties, that to say 1985, on the darkest day of the year - december 22.

My interest in photography started, as I remember it, during 2002. Me and my friends were very interested in the (illegal) business of streetracing. We were to young to drive ourselves, but the older guys were our heroes! This was the coolest thing one could think of when you were a teenager with pimples all over your face. It was in this enviroment my interest in photography started.

Another big part of my interest also comes from my dad, who's been doing this for over 30 years and still going strong. I find it very entartaining when he tells me about the good old days of phototechnique. In the analog era you had to write down the camera settings in a little notebook and wait 2 weeks to get the pictures. Nowadays, you see, not only the picture, but also all settings such as aperture, shutterspeed, ISO and histogram.

Nature has always been a matter of course for me. I've loved the outdoors since I've been able to walk by myself and the best thing to do on a early sundaymorning is to stroll in the nature. It gives me lots of energy and a sense of freedom. I always carry my camera with me in case of any interesting motives.

I live in Örnsköldsvik which is in the northern of Sweden and study social work at Umeĺ University. I grew up in the capital of Sweden - Stockholm - and moved up here in 2005. I live in a flat with my girlfriend Sofie and our dog Zsandor.
